How Space Beam Headlamp Works
Space Beam is a unique, powerful and compact headlamp that offers wide-ranging light output for different activities. With a weight of only 3.5 ounces (100 grams), the Space Beam is one of the lightest rechargeable headlamps on the market. It's also USB rechargeable and has a battery indicator to let you know when it's time to juice up. The lamp swivels 90 degrees so you can direct the beam right where you need it, and it even comes with its own storage pouch. Here's how it works:
The Space Beam uses an array of high-powered LEDs to produce a bright, focused beam of light. The headlamp has two settings - high and low - which allow you to adjust the light output depending on your needs. On the high setting, the Space Beam produces 200 lumens of light - enough to illuminate your surroundings for up to 50 meters (150 feet). On the low setting, the headlamp emits 50 lumens of light - ideal for close-up work or reading in dark conditions. When not in use, the Space Beam can be turned off completely to conserve power.
To charge the internal battery, simply connect the included USB cable to the port on the side of the headlamp. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours and will provide up to 5 hours of run time on high or 20 hours on low.
